Finnish Industry Investment's activities are based on market-driven fund investments and direct investments made together with private co-investors. By increasing the availability of risk financing and by activating private investors for risk-taking, we create prerequisites for growth and job creation.

Enterprise Finland Venture Forum
Enterprise Finland Venture Forum brings together the most promising Finnish technology companies with venture capitalists. There are 30 Finnish companies attending the event, in addition to 32 venture capitalists, of which 14 are foreign.
Vision+ launches a new product investment fund
Vision+ Fund I focuses on applications, games and services on all digital platforms. Vision+ finances product development and commercialization through a unique revenue investment model without dilution of equity. Microsoft, Nokia, FoF Growth, Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra and Finnish Industry Investment are anchor investors in the fund.
Significant minority investment in Lamor
Finnish Industry Investment Ltd and Etera make a minority investment in Lamor Corporation. This enables Lamor to invest in new business models and R&D.
Finnish Industry Investment moves to new offices

Lifeline Ventures establish a new EUR 20 million venture capital fund
Lifeline Ventures Fund I invests in health, games and technology companies aiming for international market leadership. Investors in the fund include Ilmarinen, FoF Growth, Sitra, Finnvera, Troll Ventures, Juuranto Invest and the founders.

RUSNANO invests in global leader Beneq
RUSNANO invests 25 million euros in Beneq, the Finnish pioneer and world-leader in industrial production and laboratory equipment for nano-scale thin films and functional coatings. Finnish Industry Investment has been an investor in Beneq since 2010.
Finnish Industry Investment makes a commitment of EUR 7,5 million to Creandum III
Creandum III invests in early and later-stage technology companies in the Nordic countries. The fund raised 92,5 million euros from Nordic and international institutional investors at its first closing.
SkySQL raises $4 million in Series A Round
Investments from Finnish Industry Investment Ltd., Spintop Ventures, Open Ocean Capital and OnCorps enable SkySQL to ramp up development for the enterprise and cloud.
Finnish Industry Investment receives EUR 30 million for mining cluster investments
The 30 million euro capitalisation will promote the internationalisation of the mining cluster. It will strengthen Finnish ownership of mining companies in their early stages of development and other mining cluster players, while increasing the supply of available funding.

Finnish Industry Investment and Etera acquire a 40% holding in HR House Group Oy. HR House is a temporary staffing and recruitment service as well as an HRM software expert.
Valmet Automotive to manufacture Mercedes Benz A-Class in Finland
Valmet Automotive will manufacture the new Mercedes-Benz A-Class to satisfy the expected high demand of the new vehicle. More than 100,000 A-Class vehicles are planned to be manufactured by Valmet Automotive in Uusikaupunki, Finland from 2013 to 2016. Finnish Industry Investment has been an investor in Valmet Automotive since 2010.
Mining company Sotkamo Silver lists on the Helsinki Stock Exchange
The parallel listing of Sotkamo Silver on the Helsinki Stock Exchange provides Finnish investors with better opportunities to have holdings in the domestic mining industry. Finnish Industry Investment has been an investor in Sotkamo Silver since 2010.
Equity financing of EUR 4 million for mining company Keliber
Keliber Oy has secured new equity financing of EUR 4 million for project development of its lithium project in Finland. The new capital will accelerate Keliber’s effort to become the first producer in Europe of high-purity lithium carbonate.

Academica is a leading data centre and IT services operator in Finland. The company’s previous owners, e.g. Finnish Industry Investment and Etera sell their stake in the company.
StaffPoint and HR House merge to become the leading HR service company in Finland
The new StaffPoint Group will provide services within human resources, recruitment, training and HR software.
Royal Imtech N.V. acquires EMC Talotekniikka Oy
Vaaka Partners, Etera, Finnish Industry Investment and other shareholders have agreed to sell EMC Talotekniikka to Royal Imtech N.V. EMC Talotekniikka was created in 2007 through a merger of four medium-sized technical services providers with 12 subsequent add-on acquisitions strengthening the company’s geographical reach, competencies and service offering.
